Sometimes a 2-year car battery can go three. Can’t tell so you replace it when the two years are up.This tester takes the guess work out by being able to tell you internal resistance as well as cold cranking capability of your battery. It gives you enough information to determine if the battery is still productive or ready to short out.This will save you money by not having to buy a new car battery simply because the date says so.
